What are Form Auto Fill minimum system requirements?
IBM PC or compatible 1000 MHz or faster

How can I install Form Auto Fill?
Make Internet connection.
Download the program from the Form Auto Fill web site http://www.formautofill.com
For your safety don't use third-party sites for downloading.
To start installation, run Faf.exe or run the "Add/Remove Programs" utility from Windows Control Panel, click the Install button and select Faf.exe.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
How can I uninstall Form Auto Fill?
Exit the program - select Exit from the program tray menu.

Choose Start | Programs | FormAutoFill | Uninstall FormAutoFill or run the "Add/Remove Programs" utility from Windows Control Panel, select FormAutoFill string in the list of installed programs and press the Add/Remove button.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Where can I find Form Auto Fill tray icon and tray menu?
After Form Auto Fill is installed on your PC, run the program: double-click on Form Auto Fill desktop icon or click the Start button and choose Form Auto Fill from the list of programs.
Form Auto Fill tray icon appears in the tray menu.

Usually you can find tray icons in the right bottom corner near the clock. Form Auto Fill tray icon is an orange check mark.
If you can't find Form Auto Fill tray icon and you run Windows Vista or Windows XP, click the "Show/hide icon" button in the tray menu.

Do I need temporary registration information to use 15-day trial?
You don't need any registration key to use free 15-day trial. Just start using the program.
Saving and filling forms

How can I save web form?
To save web form Internet Explorer, MSN Explorer or Maxthon (MyIE2):
Open a web page with the web form you want to save. If you want, you can fill it.
Press Ctrl + Alt + W (by default you can use this hotkeys combination to save the current web form information).
In the "New/Select Form" window enter the Form name and click "OK".
Form Auto Fill will create a new form with the necessary fields for storing the required data and fill them in.
If you save an empty web form, Form Auto Fill will create a form with the necessary fields for storing form information and automatically fill form web page's Title and Url.
If you save a web form filled with the necessary information, Form Auto Fill will create a form with the necessary fields for storing form information and automatically fill all fields.
If a web form has "select" type field(s) you can configure Form Auto Fill to save the full list of information stored in the "select" type field(s) (turn "Get full list of drop down fields" option on) or save only the selected fields' values (turn "Get full list of drop down fields" option off).
What do I do to fill form?
To fill a web form:
Open a web page with the web form you want to fill.
To fill a web form, press Ctrl + Alt + F (hotkeys to fill form, you can define your own combination).
Using "Fill only empty fields" option you can configure Form Auto Fill to insert information only in empty web form fields.
- If there is only one Form that matches a web page/url, FormAutoFill will fill a web form.
- If you have more than one Form that match a web page/url, you will see the list of Forms that match this url. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Fill will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form.
- If there are no Forms that match a web page/url, you will see the list of all Forms. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Fill will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form.
What do I do to fill and submit form?
To fill & submit form:
Open a web page with the web form you want to fill & submit.
To fill & submit a web form, press Ctrl + Alt + Z (hotkeys to fill & submit form, you can define your own combination).
Using "Fill only empty fields" option you can configure Form Auto Fill to insert information only in empty web form fields.
- If there is only one Form that matches a web page/url, FormAutoFill will fill a web form and then automatically submit it.

Using Delay between form filling and submitting feature, you can set the delay between web form filling and submitting web form information.
How can I set delay between form filling and form submitting?
You should open 'Settings' window and set delay between form filling and submitting.
How can I configure Form Auto Fill to fill only empty web form fields?
You should open 'Settings' window and put the check mark for "Fill only empty fields".
How can I create a new Form manually?
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon
Click the New button in the toolbar .
Enter form name and click "OK".

Enter the necessary information: fill in Title, URL, Form fields. Select Fill form action.

Click the "Save" button.
What do I do to delete a Form?
To delete a form:
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon
Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list".
Select the form you want to delete.
Click the Delete button in the toolbar .
Click "Yes" if you really want to delete selected form.
Batch mode
How can I fill and submit several forms in cycle (one by one) automatically?
Using 'Batch' mode you may automatically fill forms or fill and submit forms in cycle one by one - just select the group of forms you want to fill and submit automatically and set delay between forms in cycle.
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'Forms list'.
Click 'Batch mode' button.

Select what Forms you want to fill & submit automatically - put the check mark in 'Select' column. If you want to select all Forms, press '+' button.
Click 'Submit' button.

Set delay between forms.
Select necessary action for working with forms: 'Fill form' or 'Fill & submit form'.
Click 'OK'.
Form Auto Fill will automatically open urls associated with Forms and apply selected action.
What do I do to modify information in several Form simultaneously?
To modify information in several Forms simultaneously:
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select "Tools" in program toolbar and select "Forms list".
Click 'Batch mode' button.
Select what Forms you want to modify - put the check mark in 'Select' column and click 'Modify' button.

- Modify Form(s) information (title, url, 'fill form action', 'form fields linking' rule):
To change Form(s) Title, put the check mark next to 'Change title to' and enter new title.
To change url associated with Form(s), put the check mark next to 'Change url to' and enter new url.
To change Fill Form action, put the check mark next to 'Change action to' and select the new action from drop-down list.
To change 'form fields linking' rule, put the check mark next to 'Change fields linking' and select new rule.
- Modify Form(s) field information (field name, field type, field value):
To change information in the certain Form(s) field, put the check mark for 'Change field' and indicate the field you want to change (enter field's name and type), then select what field information you want to change:
To change field's name, put the check mark next to 'Change field name to' and enter new field's name.
To change field's type, put the check mark next to 'Change field type to' and select necessary type from the drop-down list.
To change field information, put the check mark next to 'Change field value to' and enter necessary data.
Click 'Apply' button.
How can I delete group of Forms?
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list".
Click 'Batch mode' button.

Select what Forms you want to delete - put the check mark in 'Select' column and click 'Delete' button.
Export/import
How can I export Forms database?
If you have Form Auto Fill 1.9 or higher version, you can easily export forms database:
To export your forms database:
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list".

Click "Export" button and select where you want to save your forms database.
Click "Save" button.
Note:
- If your forms are locked, you need to unlock them before exporting - Forms database is exported in non-encrypted form.
What do I do to import Forms database?
To import your forms database (that was exported from version 1.9 or higher version):
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list".

Click "Import" button.
Select the file with forms database you want to import.

From "Files of type" drop down list select "FormAutoFill v.1.9 and higher (*.dat)".
Click "Open".
Note:
1. If you get message "File format doesn't match selected program version", it means that the file you want to import doesn't match FormAutoFill version you selected from "Files of type" drop down list. Make sure you select the correct file and Form Auto Fill version.
2. To escape the problem when imported form has the same name as already existed form in your current database, imported form will be renamed by adding '_*' to the end of the imported form's name.
To import your forms database (from versions 1.0 - 1.1):
If you have Form Auto Fill v.1.0 or v.1.1, want to install Form Auto Fill 1.9 or higher and want to move your existing forms to the new version:
Exit the program - select Exit from the program tray menu or click "Exit" button in program toolbar (not just close main window).
Copy file with forms database to another directory.
Forms database file is usually stored in the directory Form Auto Fill is installed in (by default C:\Program Files\FormAutoFill\ )
For versions 1.0 and 1.1 forms database is stored in settings.dat
Uninstall your version of Form Auto Fill and install the new version.
Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list" item.
Click "Import" button.

Select the file with forms database you want to import.

From "Files of type" drop down list select "FormAutoFill v.1.0/1.1 (*.dat)".
Click "Open".
Note:
1. If you get message "File format doesn't match selected program version", it means that the file you want to import doesn't match FormAutoFill version you selected from "Files of type" drop down list. Make sure you select the correct file and Form Auto Fill version.

What do I do to move Forms from one PC to another or between versions?
To move forms database you should export your current forms database and then import it to PC where you want to use it.
What do I do to import information in CSV format?
Now, you can easily import your information to Form Auto Fill from Excel, Word or other programs that allow to save data in CSV format.
Just save your information to file in CSV format and then import your file to Form Auto Fill.
To import information from file in CSV format:
1. Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
2. Select "Tools" in the toolbar and select "Forms list".

3. Click "Import" button.
4. From 'Files of type' drop-down list select *.txt or *.csv and select file you want to import.

'Import' window contains the following information:
Now you should select what fields from your file you want to import. You can use "+" and "-" buttons to select/deselect all fields in the list
Form name
Enter what name(s) you want to use for Form(s) that will be created. By default, the name of each Form is built from the name in 'Form name' field and corresponding Form's number. Note: Form's name may be easily changed later.
Title information
Form title
If you want all Forms have the same title, put the radio button for 'Form title' option and enter Title information.
Get Form title from field
Or you can select 'Get Form title from field' option and using the drop-down list select what field of imported file you want to use to get information for Form Title.
Information about url the form is associated with
Form url
If you want all Forms have the same url, put the radio button for 'Form url' option and enter Url information.
Get Form url from field
Or you can select 'Get Form url from field' option and using the drop-down list select from what field of imported file you want use to get Url.
Select 'fill form action' and 'form fields linking' rules.
5. Click 'OK'.
Purchasing and registration
I placed the order on your web site. When will I receive registration information?
Most orders are processed within 1-3 business days. Some orders may require manual processing and may take up more time. Registration information will be sent to the e-mail address provided with your order. After you place an order and your credit card is authorized, you will receive an e-mail with Temporary Registration information that allows you to use the program until you get Complete Registration information.
Do I need to download and reinstall Form Auto Fill after I get registration information?
No. If a trial copy is current, enter registration information (temporary or complete) to activate the trial copy and continue using it.
How do I register Form Auto Fill with Temporary Registration information?
To register Form Auto Fill with Temporary Registration information:
1. Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
2. Click 'Help' button in program toolbar.
3. Select the Temporary Registration item. The Temporary Registration window appears.

3. Enter temporary registration information (Name, E-mail, Date and Registration Key). You are recommended to enter registration information using copy/paste commands.
Note: Make sure you enter Date to the Date field from the e-mail with Temporary registration information
4. Click "Temporary Activate".
I tried to register Form Auto Fill with Temporary registration information and got an error message.
If you have problems with Temporary Registration:
Make sure you select "Temporary registration" not "Complete registration"
Make sure you enter Date to the Date field from the e-mail with temporary registration information not leave the current date that was inserted automatically.
Make sure there are no spaces in registration key and registration key is fully copied (to select reg key, double click the registration key in the e-mail with registration information or put the cursor at the beginning of the reg. key and use Shift+End).
Check the system date - it should be the current date.
If you are still having problems, make a screenshot of your Temporary Registration window and send it to us:
Copy and paste Temporary registration information in Temporary registration window, click "Temporary Activate".
After that make a screenshot of Temporary Registration window so we can see information you entered and the error message and send it to us. To make a screenshot use Print Screen (Prt Sc) key on your keyboard - the picture will be placed to the buffer. After that you can paste the screenshot for example in Word, Photoshop, etc. Save the file and attach it to the email.
Where can I find my UserID?
To find your UserID:
1. Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
2. Click 'Help' button in program toolbar.
3. Select Complete Registration.

You can find your UserID in the 'User ID' field.
How do I register Form Auto Fill with Complete Registration information?
How do I register Form Auto Fill with Complete Registration information?
After you receive the email with Complete registration information, you should register Form Auto Fill with it.
1. Double-click Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
2. Click 'Help' button in program toolbar.
3. Select the Complete Registration item. The Complete Registration window appears.

3. Enter Complete registration information (Name, E-mail and Registration Key). You are recommended to enter ALL registration information using copy/paste commands. User ID is inserted into the User ID field automatically.
4. Click Activate.
I got an error message while Form Auto Fill Complete Registration
All fields are case sensitive. We recommend you to enter ALL registration information using copy/paste commands (including Name, email, etc).
Make sure there are no spaces in registration key and registration key is fully copied (to select reg key, double click the registration key in the e-mail with registration information or put the cursor at the beginning of the reg. key and use Shift+End).
Make sure you enter Complete registration information in the "Complete Registration" window (not in "Temporary registration window").
If you are still having problems, make a screenshot of your Complete Registration window and send it to us:
