Form Auto Fill Help
Import Forms database
Import forms database (exported from version 1.9 or higher version):
Double-click the Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'Forms list'.

Click the 'Import' button.
Select the file you want to import.

From the 'Files of type' drop-down list select 'FormAutoFill v.1.9 and higher (*.dat)'.
Click 'Open'.
Note:
1. If you get 'File format doesn't match selected program version', it means that the file you want to import doesn't match the Form Auto Fill version you selected from the 'Files of type' drop-down list. Make sure you select the correct file and Form Auto Fill version.
2. If an imported form has the same name as an existed form, imported form will be renamed by adding '_*'.
Import forms database from versions 1.0 - 1.1 to Form Auto Fill 1.9 or higher:
Exit the program - click the 'Exit' button in the program toolbar.
Copy the file with forms database to another directory.
Forms database file is usually stored in the directory where Form Auto Fill is installed in (by default C:\Program Files\FormAutoFill\ )
For versions 1.0 and 1.1 forms database is stored in settings.dat
Uninstall your version of Form Auto Fill and install a new version.
Double-click the Form Auto Fill desktop icon.
Select 'Tools' in the toolbar and select 'Forms list'.

Click the 'Import' button.
Select the file you want to import.

From the 'Files of type' drop-down list select 'FormAutoFill v.1.0/1.1 (*.dat)'.
Click 'Open'.
Note:

If you use the 'Forms encryption' option:
Unlock forms database if it was locked
Decrypt your forms database - open the 'Settings' window, uncheck 'Forms Encryption' and click the 'Apply' button.

Exit the program - click the 'Exit' button in the program toolbar.

Fill forms FAQWhat do I do to fill a form (fill online form) using Form Auto Fill?
To fill a web form: Open a web page with the web form you want to fill. To fill a web form, press Alt + F (hotkeys to fill form, you can define your own combination). Using "Fill only empty fields" option you can configure Form Auto Fill to insert information only in empty web form fields. - If there is only one Form that matches a web page/url, FormAutoFill will fill a web form. - If you have more than one Form that match a web page/url, you will see the list of Forms that match this url. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Fill will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form. - If there are no Forms that match a web page/url, you will see the list of all Forms. Select the necessary Form and click OK. Form Auto Fill will fill all information, which is saved in the related Form.
